What is a Boomerax Multiaxis Manipulator?
The Boomerax XYZR System is a high-precision, multi-axis translation stage designed for ultra-high vacuum (UHV) applications, offering exceptional stability, accuracy, and adaptability. This fully customizable UHV manipulation system integrates X, Y, and Z translation, along with rotation, into a compact and rigid assembly, ensuring smooth, backlash-free movement with optimal alignment.

Base Flange:
The base flange size determines the mounting flange size (DN40CFT, DN63CFT, DN100CFT). The larger this flange size, the larger the insert diameter can be.
Travel Flange:
The travel flange can be adjusted with modular optional components to fit the chosen rotary feedthrough or insert flange.
Lateral XY travel [mm]:
The lateral travel range of the XY-Stage is usually +/- 12.5mm.
XY-Stages with a DN100CF flange size can allow for lateral travel range of +/- 25mm.
Larger travel ranges limit the size of the insert diameter.Linear Travel [mm]:
The maximum travel distance of the manipulator. The overall length of the assembly is larger than this value, as travel flange moves along the spindle and compresses the bellows unit.
