Each SAE module features the same standardized interface on both sides, allowing modules to be combined in series. To achieve this, the SAE Stacking Adapter is required. It consists of two precision-machined interface plates that are factory-assembled to ensure alignment and reliability.

The adapter is only needed when more than one Sample Environment module is stacked. For single-module configurations, it is not required.
