This motorization upgrade allows for automated and reproducible adjustment of the MX16-3 X-translator, which is used for the positioning of equipment along one axis. The sturdy construction of the X-translator ensures unchanging alignment of all components and consistent positioning.

The MX16-3 offers Nanometer performance and when motorized, a resolution of 5 microns is achievable.

Please note that for bakeout the motor must be removed.
